The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 states that the Responsible Person” must ensure that a Fire Risk Assessment is completed to ensure all “Relevant Persons” are protected.
Responsibility lies with “The Responsible Person”. In a workplace, this is the employer and any other persons who may have control of any part of the premises e.g. The Owner or Manager.
In most cases this will be the local fire and rescue authority. However if you occupy a crown occupied/owned premises this will be inspected by the Crown fire inspectors.
Following our visit we will complete all significant findings in a Fire Risk Assessment report. The document will be supplied with a prioritised action plan which, if fully actioned, will ensure the “responsible person(s)” meet their legal obligations and work towards compliance and/or best practice. The report will be sent to you within 72 hours of our visit via PDF along with a copy in the post.
We offer 90 days free support from the date of the Assessment in which we can assist you with any queries you may have.
