Havio became part of the Ministry of Sound story in 2010, working with Hector Dewar, the Chief Operating Officer, and building up a strong partnership with Facilities Manager Andy Ashe. During this time, we have worked closely on a number of projects, the most significant being the refurbishment of the nightclub and their offices. Acting as an advisor to Ministry of Sound, we ensure that Health and Safety standards are applied so all projects are delivered safely. The nature of their business requires fast turnaround times and for us to be extremely flexible, without compromising the quality of what we do. Our consultancy services extend to having a presence at meetings, providing fire consultancy for projects and completing the annual risk assessments of the nightclub and offices.
The impact of our partnership has enabled the Ministry of Sound nightclub to continue to operate safely, no mean feat in a licensed premises with thousands coming through the door each week. Our consultancy and advice has also enabled them to increase the capacity of the nightclub through innovative design, whilst remaining fully compliant with The Building Regulations.
More recently, we have been engaged by the team as they have transformed an old Victorian factory in SE1 to become ‘The Ministry’ - a private members' club and shared workspace for creative businesses, featuring private offices, open desks, an events space and 40-seat cinema.
"The most impressive part of the Havio offering is the standard of the advice and availability of the team from the top down – they get our culture and partner with us with this in mind.
